Family & Children's Aid is extremely honored to be one of the Ridgefield Thrift Shop's current grant recipients! Family & Children’s Aid is a community based, non-profit organization providing innovative and responsive services since 1809 to heal and support children, families and individuals who have experienced abuse, neglect or trauma.
 

Family & Children’s Aid serves 7,000 children and families in over 100 cities and towns in Connecticut, including Ridgefield. Our 20+ programs focused on improving behavioral health include community-based residential homes, as well as outpatient and in-home therapies featuring unique innovative approaches that include Life is Good Playmakers and PeaceLove Expressive Arts. Family & Children’s Aid is an invaluable resource to the communities we serve, making a difference in so many lives when hope is all but lost. This generous grant of $5,000 will help to support our mission and benefit those who need it most.
