Homeless Shelter Feels More Like Home

New refrigerator for Harmony HouseHarmony House, our shelter for homeless mothers and children housed in a Victorian house built in 1893, got quite a sprucing up over the past few months. The residence received a new refrigerator, carpeting and stair railings, repaired and updated bathrooms, plus a fresh coat of paint!

Thank you to Savings Bank of Danbury, The Albert Wadsworth & Helen Clark Meserve Memorial Fund, The Inner-City Foundation For Charity & Education and the Danbury Moose Lodge for giving our residents a more welcoming home until they are able to establish independence for their families again.
