Family and Children’s in Aid in Danbury received a generous donation of 30 backpacks and 30 toothbrush kits from the Max Michael Rosenfield Foundation last week. Kager has been collecting backpacks and making blankets through her Girl Scout Gold Award project, and donating them to Family and Children’s Aid. The Max Michael Rosenfield Foundation made its donation to her cause through baseball clinic funds that helped pay for the backpacks. — Steve Coulter
