Somers, NY:  Major League Baseball’s former players organize clinics teaching baseball and life skills all across the country to teach kids about the game.

And now in partnership with Family & Children’s Aid, they plan to host a clinic in Somers for the first time.

The MLB Players Alumni Association will hold this special baseball event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 23 at the BAT Complex in the Somers Sports Arena, the home of the NY Silverbacks baseball club teams.

The clinic will feature up to 10 former MLB players and all children participating will receive a free official Rawlings baseball MLB Alumni Association baseball. After the baseball instruction, the players will stay for autographs and pictures.

Registration is free for children and the clinic is recommended for children ages 6 to 16. Participants can register online at www.fcaweb.org/forms/MLBinSomers. For additional information contact Allison Carballo at (203) 205-2633 or via email at allison.carballo@fcaweb.org.
