  • Shout-out to our home care staff Kimberly Henderson, Alicia Mack, and Carrie Anderson who demonstrated their amazing dedication to our clients. One of our home care clients, Mr. C, lives in senior housing managed by Danbury Housing Authority.  He has been without power or a working phone since last Tuesday's storm.  Mr C relies on an oxygen tank which is normally plugged in, and his one portable tank was running out of oxygen.  The vendor that supplies the portable tanks is in Waterbury and they could not deliver.  The Housing Authority did not respond to our calls and Mr C's CCCI case manager was unhelpful.  Kimberly coordinated with the fire department to get him additional tanks while Alicia and Carrie went above and beyond to make sure he had meals and whatever he needed. We're lucky and proud to have employees like these!
  • Shout-out to IICAPS team Erica Terhune and Rossy Brito Trinidad for their dedication to their clients and their willingness to meet several clients in-person to better meet their clinical needs.
