DIRECT CARE WORKERS: Provide daily support and care to children and adolescents who have been placed in a group home setting due to past trauma. Past trauma may include abuse and/or neglect, and many children have high acuity behavioral needs.
Direct Care Workers are responsible for ensuring the structure and safety in the home, and that daily needs of the residents are met (i.e. meals, hygiene, homework, etc.).

Part-time and Full Time:
1st 6am to 2pm
2nd 2pm to 10pm SHIFT COORDINATOR: Provide daily support and care to children and adolescents who have been placed in a group home setting due to past trauma. Past trauma may include abuse and/or neglect, and many children have high acuity behavioral needs. The Shift Coordinator is a supervisory position and responsibilities include:
· Structuring the daily shift’s routine · Overseeing and mentoring the Direct Care Workers on shift · Maintaining safety in the home · Administering medications per the Department of Children and Families’ (DCF) regulations · Ensuring the daily needs of the residents are met (meals, hygiene, homework, etc.) · Completing required daily shift documentation
Requirements DCF Medication Administration Certification
Associates Degree or equivalent in a related field of study Minimum one year relevant supervisory experience
Available Shifts
Part-time: Sunday & Monday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday & Monday: 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Bilingual Clinicians: Needed for child-centered therapy programs servicing the greater
The Child Guidance Clinic works with children and their families to manage emotionally difficult situations on an outpatient therapy level.
The Intensive In-home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (IICAPS) program is a Yale School of Medicine therapy model which consists of a team approach whereby clinical partners go into their clients’ homes to provide intensive therapy to the child/adolescent and the family unit.
Clinicians must be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary clinical team, including APRNs and Child Psychiatrists, to deliver quality services to clients in crisis.
Requirements: CT license/licensable Masters Degree
Fluent Spanish and/or Portuguese
Past experience working with children/adolescents with behavioral
and emotional needs preferred
Available Shifts: Full-time, flex schedule includes evening hours
Per Diem positions may be available within Child Guidance Clinic
PART-TIME CLINICIAN: Provide individual and group therapy to children in a therapeutic, after school Extended Day Program in
Requirements: CT licensed or hold valid licensable Masters Degree
Shift: Twenty (20) Hours per week
In mileu, Monday – Friday 3p.m. to 6p.m
