Volunteer
Family and Children’s Aid hosts more than 500 volunteers annually. Our volunteers range from single individuals to corporate groups of 300. We work with our volunteers to develop a project plan that is both beneficial to Family & Children’s Aid and fulfilling for the volunteers.
Volunteers’ support allows us to maintain our campus and individual facilities in a warm, welcoming and playful manner, reflecting our therapeutic approach to the work we do with the children. When a child walks into a Family & Children’s Aid facility we want them to feel safe, loved and welcomed—this is possible through volunteer support.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Family & Children’s Aid. Please fill out the Volunteer Profile so we may learn more about what types of volunteer activities you are seeking.
Notes About Volunteering:
- Because of the therapeutic nature of our work and our responsibility to maintain client confidentiality, volunteer opportunities working directly with the children are not available.
- We are in need of volunteers to help us coordinate community drives for our client rewards program (this includes collections for new sporting goods, art supplies, games, puzzles and new or gently used books). If you are interested in coordinating a drive, please let us know! For more information, visit our Other Ways to Give page.
- We are currently not offering on-site volunteer activities due to COVID-19. Please check back soon for more information!
